Hookah
A form of waterpipe smoking tobacco that uses shisha (a mixture of tobacco, molasses and fruit flavours). Water used in the hookah does not diminish the toxicity of tobacco. The smoke produced from the hookah contains high levels of carbon monoxide, heavy metals and other carcinogens. A 1-hour session of hookah smoking exposes the user to 100-200 times the volume of smoke inhaled from a single cigarette and delivers significant levels of nicotine.12
